You may have wished at some point to change your Gmail password. Either as a precaution to protect your safety or you’re worried if someone knows your password. Whatever the reason might be, you can learn to do it in under a minute by following these easy steps.

Step 1. Log into your Gmail account, and click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Step 2. Click “Settings.”

Step 3. Click “Accounts and Import” at the top.

Step 4. Click “Change password.”

Step 5. Here, you’ll be required to enter your current password, along with your new password twice. Note that you can’t reuse an old password once you change it. Plus, any Gmail password you use must consist of eight characters. Once you satisfy these requirements, just click the blue “Change Password” button, and you’ll be good to go!
